The Emerging Leaders committee invites you to join the ISPE Canada Book Club for our first meeting of 2022. Back by popular demand, the book club will be kicking off the year with a discussion of Start with Why by Simon Sinek. It is sure to be a fun, social evening of open discussion! This event is open to both seasoned and young professionals or emerging leaders. And don’t be worried if you haven’t read the book; you are still welcome to join us! All you need is a love of reading and an open mind – we hope to see you there!
Why do you do what you do?
Why are some people and organizations more innovative, more influential, and more profitable than others? Why do some command greater loyalty from customers and employees alike? Even among the successful, why are so few able to repeat their success over and over?
People like Martin Luther King Jr., Steve Jobs, and the Wright Brothers might have little in common, but they all started with why. It was their natural ability to start with why that enabled them to inspire those around them and to achieve remarkable things.
