The first webinar in a series of webinars about cannabis production facility design in Canada. This first webinar will cover the introduction to the ISPE Canada Affiliate Cannabis Guideline Working Group as well as the scope of the guideline.
In February 2019, ISPE Canada formed the WG1 working group of volunteers to support our members who are working in the cannabis area. The group elected to build a guideline. The guideline develops concepts to reflect the impact of new Canadian regulation on cannabis facilities without sacrificing cannabis and cannabis-derived product quality by reducing risk and enhancing the manufacturing control strategy. The guideline emphasizes the use of available technologies, good and best practices, as well as GxP principles as an approach to mitigating risks associated with the production of cannabis products, including medicinal cannabis. This webinar is the first of a series of webinars about cannabis facility design in Canada that will cover the introduction of the working Group as well as the scope of the guideline.
